Argus Pine Bush • Ogden, UT
My brother-in-law gave me a sweet camera from the 1960's that he had inherited. It's an Argus. I put a roll of black and white film in it and snapped a few shots of our backyard and then developed and scanned the film myself. Most of the shots didn't turn out, but a few of them did. Here's one of my favorites.

Blue Dress • Austin, TX
Here's an older one I never got around to posting. My wife wore this dress for her guest performance with the Austin Symphonic Band earlier this year. Check it out on youtube here. It will blow your mind.

First Snow of The Yer • Ogden, UT
I took these the morning after the first snow storm a few weeks ago. I love snow so much! I am so excited to finally be home for a full winter this year. Fresh snow really is one of the most beautiful things in the world and I get all happy inside after every snowfall.
Nicky, our dog, wasn't too thrilled with her first snow experience and had to find the only patch of grass not covered with it to do her business.

Simply Mac Criterium Series • Ogden, UT
Here's a few more shots from some of the races this summer. I can't wait for next year's cycling season!
Sprint • Ogden, UT
This summer I developed a new passion for cycling. I've always enjoyed mountain biking, and I rode a bike nearly every day for two years when I lived in Belgium and The Netherlands. But it wasn't until this year that I finally bought a road bike and now I'm addicted. The end of summer is so bitter sweet this year. I usually can't wait for the snow to start falling and the ski resorts to open so that I can go snowboarding. But the cooler temperatures and shorter days means that the season for cycling is coming to and end for this year. I took this image at a criterium race in Ogden. I love the expression on the rider's face of sheer determination. To me this image really embodies the intensity, passion, and focus that I feel and experience when I'm racing.
Our New Puppy • Ogden, UT
We recently got a new dog, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Nicky (there's a story behind the name). She was a graduation gift for my wife from her parents and is too cure for her own good.
