Argus Malan's Peak • Ogden, UT

I love the view from out backyard.

Argus Backyard Trees • Ogden, UT

Here's another shot from that first roll of film I put through my new (for me) Argus camera.

Auratone Samples

One of the products that I offer is called an Auratone.  It's a black and white print made on clear photographic film and then I paint the backside gold.  The effect can be really cool with the right image. Here's a few that I recently made for one of my brides.

Argus Pine Bush • Ogden, UT

My brother-in-law gave me a sweet camera from the 1960's that he had inherited. It's an Argus. I put a roll of black and white film in it and snapped a few shots of our backyard and then developed and scanned the film myself. Most of the shots didn't turn out, but a few of them did. Here's one of my favorites.

LIttle Baby • Bountiful, UT

Backyard Dog • Ogden, UT

I'm pretty sure we have the most adorable dog in the world.

First Snow of The Yer • Ogden, UT

I took these the morning after the first snow storm a few weeks ago.  I love snow so much!  I am so excited to finally be home for a full winter this year. Fresh snow really is one of the most beautiful things in the world and I get all happy inside after every snowfall.

Nicky, our dog, wasn't too thrilled with her first snow experience and had to find the only patch of grass not covered with it to do her business.

Sand Dunes • Death Valley, CA

PIcon Family • Austin, TX

This beautiful family recently had a new addition join them and they wanted to get some family pictures to celebrate the growth of their family.  They had the awesomely unique idea to have their family pictures taken in their pajamas on the bed, where they love spending time together. My favorites are the moments before/between photographing the more "formal" family portrait. It's so apparent to see how much they love each other and how happy they are. Here are a few of my favorites from our session:
